Have you ever turned the switch for a lamp, and it didn't come on? Maybe you even changed the light bulb, with no luck. Then you realized (facepalm) that it wasn't plugged in. You couldn't get any light because you weren't plugged into the power!
Sometimes I think we (I) struggle in the daily demands of life, feeling drained and powerless, and wonder what's wrong. Sometimes we just need to take a moment to talk to God, the source of all power, who can give us the strength, energy, passion, or whatever we need to make it through the day and fulfill our calling.
Feeling powerless? "Plug it in, plug it in!"
